Where is the church located?
Cayce United Methodist Church is located at 1600 12th St., Cayce, SC. You may park in the large lot on 12th St., along the side of the church on Naples St. or in the lot behind the church on N. Avenue.
How do I find my way around?
Look for our friendly ushers and greeters at the front door of the sanctuary. They will be happy to help you find your way around.
What do I wear to your church?
We really hope you will be comfortable at Cayce UMC in whatever you choose to wear. Cayce UMC family is multi-generational with a mixture of many ethnic backgrounds. Dress tends to be a range from ties to jeans. Most of all, we just want you to be relaxed and enjoy your worship experience. Come as you are friend!
What can I expect at worship service?
Our 10:30 a.m. worship service is a blend of traditional and contemporary services. The service features our talented musical team who blend Methodist hymns with contemporary songs. If you are seeking a meaningful worship experience … a relaxed atmosphere … and a community who loves God, we hope you will join us.
What about my children?
Children are an important part of the family of Cayce; you may bring them with you while you worship. We have a children's moment and love the sounds, wiggles and expressions of children. We design worship to appeal to all ages through visuals, music and preaching. We have a “quiet room” upstairs in the sanctuary for nursing or if that is a more comfortable option for your family; though we are unbothered by children.
What do Methodists believe?
Cayce UMC is a congregation of the United Methodist Church. As such, we follow the teachings of John and Charles Wesley and place a strong emphasis on God’s grace and the call for Christians to put faith into action. How do I become a member of Cayce UMC?
Contact the church office at 803-794-3200 if you would like to become a member. Cayce UMC welcomes others to our family through profession of faith and transfers of membership from another church. You may also submit the Join our Family Form and the pastoral team will be in touch with you soon.
